Research Tools and Products
Senecio's research tools are based on frameworks incorporating the latest platform-neutral software technologies, including Java, XML, WAP, and WML. With more than a decade of experience in the fields of computer-assisted surveying, market research, and software development, the number of Senecio's products has grown to include traditional survey research tools used in large-scale telephone surveys as well as web surveys, wireless data access systems, and NIH funded R&D efforts directed toward estimating housing and population counts.
Research Tools and Products
Incorporated in 1992, Senecio Software was founded by a group of veteran survey researchers and software engineers dedicated to making professional computer-assisted interviewing tools easier to use. Whether the survey was conducted by phone, disk-by-mail, kiosk, the web or from a laptop, Senecio's engineering group wanted to offer its customers a simpler solution by placing professional survey tools into the hands of a wider audience.
From its earliest successes at providing the market with the first GUI CATI system, Macintosh/Windows single disk-by-mail survey tool, and Java applet web-survey engine, Senecio has consistently maintained its commitment to offering the market more advanced data collection systems.
Senecio Software Continues its Growth
The early design philosophy of streamlining the survey process through the use of a GUI questionnaire editor and data collection program has been expanded to include the ability to survey anyone, anytime, anywhere - a design philosophy shaped by a growing body of powerful new Internet-related technologies and software design tools.
Engineers at Senecio Software recently completed work on the first version of our survey system, AskAnywhere®. It is now possible to write a questionnaire using any desktop computer, have that survey delivered to anywhere on the globe, in any language, from any location, and, eventually, through any delivery system - web, laptop, WAP phone, kiosk or CATI.
Along with their ongoing work on AskAnywhere®, engineers at Senecio are also designing population estimation and object identification systems using high resolution satellite imagery, and new data gathering systems for the personalization of medicine revolution.
