Licensing AskAnywhere

The License page in the AskAnywhere Administrator enables you to obtain an initial license for AskAnywhere. An unlicensed version of AskAnywhere will run in demo mode, with restricted capabilities. To obtain a full, licensed version of AskAnywhere, complete the following steps.

Note: When you want to add another version to your license or extend a current license, send an email to Senecio Software at info@senecio.com or call us at (419) 352-4371.

  1. If you haven't already done so, start Tomcat.

  2. Log on to the AskAnywhere Administrator.

  3. Select the License tab.

  4. Select Registration Form.

  5. Enter the required information, select the desired version(s) and license term(s), and select Register. To clear all the values on the screen, select Reset.

    Notes:

    • Senecio Software will use the email address you enter to communicate your temporary registration key as well as other important information.
    • You may register for more than one version at a time, but you may select only one license term for each version.

  6. After you have selected Register, your request is forwarded to Senecio Software.

  7. As soon as your request is processed, Senecio Software sends you an email with a temporary registration key.

  8. To retrieve your license, from the License page, enter your temporary registration key in the Registration Key field and select Register. To clear all the values on the screen, select Reset.

  9. When the Registration screen reappears with all of your information included, Senecio Software has granted you a license as requested; you may now begin to use all the capabilities of AskAnywhere. The Versions of AskAnywhere Registered section lists the registered versions of AskAnywhere and their expiration dates. To modify any information, change the desired information in the General Information section and select Update Record. This updates your information with Senecio Software. To clear all the values in the General Information section, select Reset.
