What information does Senecio Software gather/track about you?

Registration: All information supplied by those downloading a demonstration version of our software or licensees of the AskAnywhere® system is stored by Senecio Software Inc.

Cookies: Senecio Software does not use cookies to recognize or track visitors to the company's web site, nor do we read the cookie files of visitors to our web site.

Cookies are used in the HTML-version of the AskAnywhere^® system for session tracking during online surveys, but this information is not used for any purpose other than management during a specific survey.

IP Addresses: Senecio Software's web server logs IP addresses for systems administration and troubleshooting purposes. We do not use IP address logs to track visitors' sessions or visitors' behavior on our site.

Log Files: Log data is only used in aggregate to analyze usage of our web site.

What does Senecio Software Inc. do with the information it gathers/tracks?

Senecio Software does not share any information about its customers, including e-mail address information.

E-Mail: Senecio Software will periodically send you emails about software updates, bug-fixes, new products, and services offered. Additionally, the email address provided by you at registration may be used by Senecio Software to contact you regarding (1) account status (including confirmation of registration), (2) major changes to the web site and/or Privacy Policy, and (3) participation in user surveys, asking for feedback about the web site and existing or prospective products and services as well as information to better understand our users.

Except as permitted by this policy, Senecio Software does not send unsolicited e-mail.

Data Security: To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the appropriate use of information, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to protect the information we collect online.

Does Senecio Software share the information it gathers/tracks?

Senecio Software does not share any information it obtains from visitors or product licensees. We do not release personal information about you as an individual, or about your company or professional affiliation.

Compliance with Legal Process

We may disclose personal information if we are required to do so by law or we in good faith believe that such action is necessary to (1) comply with the law or with legal process; (2) protect and defend our rights and property; (3) protect against misuse or unauthorized use of Senecio Software applications; or (4) protect the personal safety or property of our users or the public (among other things, this means that if you provide false information or attempt to pose as someone else, information about you may be disclosed as part of any investigation into your actions).
